American Total Protection LLC (“ATP”) was founded in 2011 by the Coassin Family. Since its inception, ATP has experienced organic growth and growth through strategic acquisitions. Through ATP and its wholly owned subsidiaries, Frontline Fire Protection Systems LLC (DBA ATP Fire), Frontline Protection Systems LLC (DBA ATP Alarms) and ATP Electric LLC, the ATP Family services over 10,000 customers in Florida and the North East.
With an obsessive dedication to customer satisfaction, American Total Protection and its affiliates have distinguished themselves as leaders in the electronic security, fire protection, and electrical fields in both Connecticut and Florida.
The company is currently led by Lawrence “Rence” Coassin Jr., son of the late founder. Rence resides in Connecticut with his wife and two young children.
Depending on the state, the licenses and certifications vary. In the state of Connecticut, all of our technicians need to be licensed during the apprenticeship program. We also need to have a company license holder.
The license requirements in Florida are a little different than Connecticut, where the company needs to be licensed and all the technicians need some type of certification to be involved in life safety.
