Freedom Achieved with Help from ATP

I own my own business and as an entrepreneur it can be very fulfilling, but it can also drive me nuts. I wonder if I’ll ever have any free time, I already feel guilty if I’m not there. When I am there I ask myself when am I going to get home and have family time, do the things I like and actually have time for myself? I know I’m not alone.

Sure, I had a security system at our business, but after seeing all of the new stuff available on TV, the internet and at my neighbor’s house, I thought, Hey, I’m worth the upgrade. I’m speaking of a feature our friend showed us on their cell phone, a smart phone actually (they explained the difference). Their smart phone was connected to their home security system, which also had home automation. The app was called Total Connect, and boy is it easy to use.

Freedom with energy management and home automation via a smartphone still sounds pretty space age, but I assure you it’s real.

So, I had to have it. Energy management and home automation via a smartphone still sounds pretty space age, but I assure you it’s real. At our business, a pub, we can check if the system is armed, un arm it if we like, bypass a zone and pretty much all of the things you would do on your business security systems keypad. There are even temp sensors we added in our walk in refrigerator which warns us if the temp is too warm. That system going down and me not knowing could make for a bad day. With Total Connect, I get a text if something’s wrong. Being paranoid that the system is not on, or isn’t working is no longer an issue for me as I can check it out on my iPhone. We did all of this with ATP Alarms, our local Honeywell authorized security dealer.

As a business owner, I have made the command decision to take control and to give myself freedom without the constant worry I used to have. Now we get to go out more, travel and simply put, relax.

For me this is a new found peace of mind, I love my new gadgets that are on my iPad, smartphone and PC.

The weather will be getting nicer soon, and I’m going to make sure to take time to smell the roses. For me this is a new found peace of mind, I love my new gadgets that are on my iPad, smartphone and PC. We’re free do and go where as we please, knowing that we can check on our lively business in a flash. How’s that for an upgrade? I would recommend Total Connect to everyone, you’re worth it!

Security alarms can communicate via internet (hardwired or WiFi depending on the system), phone line, or cellular. Often security alarms have two communication paths—one that is primary and one that is backup. ATP Alarms encourages all customers to have a back up form of communication in the event the primary fails. We believe that the best is setup for fast and reliable communication is internet/WiFi primary with cellular backup. We feel that the internet communication is the fastest while the cellular is most reliable. Traditional alarms relied on phone lines to communicate.
